Nike Sportswear Cortez Flywire

Upon the debut of one of Nike’s latest technical marvels, Flywire, we immediately saw the technology put to work on a pair of hybrid Nike Air Max 90s. Flywire is designed to provide structural rigidity at a decreased weight allowing you to be supported at just the right spots. The latest experiment subject is the classic runner, the Cortez. We see the now familiar thin filaments running the vertical of the side panel with a re-worked Free-style sole which keeps true to the Cortez original with a pointy sole structure. These are set for a release in 2009.
